Low Fat Stewed Turnips Recipe


Ingredients
* 8 to 10 turnips, peeled and cut into cubes
* 1 teaspoon fresh garlic, minced
* 1 tablespoon Smart Balance Lite spread (margarine)
* 1 large onion, chopped
* Salt and pepper to taste
* 1 teaspoon parsley

Directions
1. Boil peeled and cubed turnips until tender. Drain and set aside.
2. Simmer onions in melted margarine until tender and clear.
3. Add garlic, parsley and cooked turnips. Cook until turnips are coated well with garlic/parsley mix are re-heated, stirring constantly. About 2 minutes.
