Low Fat Cabbage Soup Recipe


Ingredients
* 3 cups shredded cabbage
* 1 cup chopped onion
* 2 tablespoon white vinegar
* 1 teaspoon sweetener (Splenda, Sweet'N Low or SugarTwin)
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
* 2 cups beef stock or chicken broth
* 1 large tomato, finely chopped
* 1/2 bell pepper, chopped fine
* 3 cups water
* 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Directions
1. Place onion, tomato, bell pepper, salt, pepper, garlic powder and beef stock in a large soup pot. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
2. Add vinegar, sweetener, cabbage, and water. Bring to a boil. Cook another 10 to 15 minutes.
Serve hot. Very good with Southern Cornbread.
